Making music and helping others to make music are my passions.
Here you will find information about my life and work as a mezzo soprano singer, performing in solo recitals, opera, and choral productions, and as a voice teacher, helping others to find and develop their singing voices.
Here you will find information and some photos of my work in classical vocal repertoire as a singer with Opera Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Singers Chorale, and the Parish Choirs of St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley, Malvern, PA, as well as my work in theatre and musical theatre, including the Arden Theatre, Media Theatre for the Performing Arts, Gretna Theatre, Philadelphia FringeArts, and in The Lost Colony. As a singer I have also created Songs from My Grandmother’s Music Cabinet, a one-woman show featuring American and British popular songs from the early- to mid-20th century, coupled with anecdotes from young people of that era.
Equally important is my work as a voice teacher of singers of all ages and backgrounds. Please visit the Voice Studio page for details about my experience as a voice teacher, along with information regarding my teaching philosophy, studio policies, hours, and student opportunities. I have been teaching aspiring singers in a variety of musical styles for over thirty-five years, both in my Main Line studio and as a faculty member of Montgomery County Community College and Settlement Music School in Philadelphia.
I invite you, after reading this website, to contact me to arrange an appointment for me to sing for you or for an introductory lesson for you to sing for me.
Most importantly, I wish you all the best in you musical life!
